Fallen arch, pain and running

Hi all,
I wonder if anyone who suffers from fallen arches manages to run without pain and has any advice?
Quick background: I have a fallen arch/flat foot on my left foot and it's been causing me pain on and off the last few years. It came on during lockdown when I was living in slippers with no support. The doctor originally diagnosed plantar fasciitis but I've since seen a podiatrist who told me it's a fallen arch. I bought off the peg orthotic insoles plus some sketchers arch fit, which have both helped but I get pain from time to time and since starting couch to 5k a month ago it's been getting worse. Today I had to stop after a couple of minutes with pain around my ankle and in the foot.
I've upgraded my trainers to an Asics pair with support and also bought some custom orthotics online - the company sends you foam blocks which you step into to create your foot profile but the insoles I received don't feel that supportive tbh.
I really don't want to have to stop the running as I'm enjoying it - easy to fit into my day, gets me outside and is free!
Has anyone got any tips? And could i cause myself permanent injury if I continue? I've also self referred on the NHS to get an assessment by my local orthotics department but I suspect it will take months to be seen.

If you can afford it I would for a private podiatrist. The difference in the way they fit custom orthotics and the way the NHS did them was night and day! They’re expensive but mine have lasted years.

@NotFastButFurious Thanks for your reply. Guess I'm just going to have to invest! I thought the ones I'd bought online but fitted to my feet (via the foam imprints I did at home) would be a cheaper but viable shortcut but may have wasted my money there.
