Anyone got a wattbike atom or peloton?

New to indoor trainer bikes and considering this one as well as Peloton. Would love some reviews or any other recommendations.

I have neither. I have a smart turbo trainer. If I had bags of space and pots of cash, I'd own a Wattbike Atom. I'm a cyclist and use the turbo for zwift - mainly to work on my fitness (I race, not on zwift).

The Wattbike is for the cyclist. Peloton is a glorified overpriced spin bike.

Depends if you're a cyclist or spin class attendee really?!

Thank you @platypuspart. Are you happy with your turbo trainer and does it take lots of space? The bike would be for a cyclist who also spins, I suspect he’d like the wattbike more but £££& 😞

I have a peloton and love it. Much better than most spin bikes and the classes are great

I have a peloton and DH (who is a cyclist) uses it as well. He doesn't like it as much as his turbo trainer, but has also not bothered to drag his turbo out since we've had it and let his Zwift membership lapse.

I love my peloton hard as it is perfect for me, but I like the classes. DH mainly does PowerZone but is quite snobby about which classes he takes.

Peloton and love it
You can do fun rides or power zone which is more training, then the other classes like strength/Pilates etc
Just hit 200 spin classes on mine

I love my turbo trainer. It takes up minimal space on its own, but I have my turbo bike attached to it so it's just normal bike space.
I use Training Peaks which syncs very nicely up to Zwift, so I do my set sessions on Zwift which adds a bit of fun.
I am a cyclist (time trails/crit/CX) though so prefer having my turbo bike set up in the way my road bike is, plus the feel of being on a bike rather than a "not quite a bike" is far superior, in my opinion. If I want to train indoor on my TT bike, it's so easily changeable.

I have a Peloton Bike+ and think it's fab, I've just started the power zone programs.

I did try the turbo trainer and Zwift but found it a hassle as I'm limited with space and had a toddler at the time so didn't want him messing with gears and chains and stuff.

If I was to go that route again though I would definitely consider the Atom bike over the Peloton. I am thinking however of getting some power pedals and side loading Zwift onto my Peloton (How to Load Zwift or TrainerRoad on a Peloton Bike: A Geek's Guide (dcrainmaker.com))

This post started almost 100% for my own reference as a simple notepad file. But enough people asked about my …

I have a peloton & absolutely love it. Love the variety of glasses & instructors.

Another vote for Peloton!

If you are an actual cyclist then go for the watt bike. If you want to do spin classes then get a peloton. Watt bike mimics actual cycling much more accurately.

I love my Wattbike. One huge advantage is that you don't have to pay a monthly fee - you just buy the bike and that's it.

I put my iPad on the stand and watch programmes of my choice while I'm doing the workout. Love it.
