Achilles support?

I’m 3 months in with Achilles tendinitis and crawling up the walls.
I’ve tried physio, shockwave therapy, new orthotics, and to no avail. Walking uphill is particularly painful.
I’m hypermobile and have POTS and seem to be prone to tendon issues since going through the menopause.
has anyone got any recommendations for ankle supports? Was going to give that a go as a last resort

It's keeping pressure off my tendon that works for me as I'm prone to Haglans Deformity irritating the tendon. Keeping my calves slightly elevated at night so my ankles aren't resting on the tendon.
Shoes not putting pressure on it is another big one, harder in winter when sandals aren't comfortable.
Another factor is keeling my tendon warm and mobilising it in the morning before putting weight on when it's flared up.

All sounds good advice thanks. I've bought a support and am going to give it a go, and managed to get a referral to a gym on a 12 week programme - hopefully they will be familiar with hypermobility!
