What do you hike in? (Clothes for overweight hikers)

Sorry for the odd thread title. I can't think of another way to put it.

I love hiking and usually just go in my jeans but after baby no.2 my jeans are just too tight and I'm looking for an alternative trouser to hike in.

Does anyone have any comfy/ supportive recommendations for those of us a big bigger?

Thanks all

The activity trousers you get in places like Blacks or Mountain Warehouse are wonderful! I'm an 18 and can buy in-store.

Leggings!! I tie something round my waist and wear super stretchy leggings 😊

Trousers from Acai outdoors. They are stretchy, really comfortable and also designed for hiking. Not cheap but very durable and can often get a discount for first purchases.

Decathlon have hiking trousers that are amazing value and have a phone pocket. I have expensive ones yet these are my favourite. They're lightweight too and airy. I have hiking leggings too. Also get a hiking top that wicks so sweat isn't hanging around.

I've got a couple of pairs from Decathlon. One pair is quite low waisted though, which annoys me.

I hike a lot and have recently more or less abandoned hiking trousers in favour of leggings. No chafing, they dry easily and are really comfortable. Does the job nicely.
