I am generally not very fit but have been adding bits of exercise to my daily routine and noticing good results. I am no longer out of breath going up the stairs, my flexibility is better etc. But today, oh boy... I got a grass trimmer out and tidied up front garden and edges, then picked up some grass. All took me just over an hour and my hands are absolutely killing me from holding the trimmer. I can barely lift a spoon up without my hand shaking! The trimmer isn't heavy and yes it was my first time using it so maybe I wasn't holding it in the best position (I did switch up a few times to see what works best). Either way, I need my upper body to be stronger and wonder if anyone can recommend set of exercise that can help. I have dumbbells and do a couple of short workouts in a week but I usually just do whatever I feel like which is clearly not working!
