So been having pain in my lower left leg for about 6 weeks now, not searing pain but enough to annoy me. Initially it felt like it went across my shin rather than vertically but now seems to be down the side of my shin. I'm going to assume it's shin splints (a GP appointment is only likely if my leg actually drops off and even then, only on a Tuesday between 8.00 and 8.30am 😑).
Has anyone any suggestions on how to fix it? I've a 10k to do in a fortnight that I really want to do. I'm currently putting ice on it and a friend suggested compression socks. I'm just so fed up with it now.
