Fitness trackers for a small wrist?

Can anyone advise?

I'd really like to get a new fitness tracker (Fitbit or similar) but I have an issue with having relatively small wrists. They're not super teeny tiny (about 6" around) but for years I've had issues with watches being uncomfortable. I have lost count of the amount of watches I've rejected over the years because they are just too big and uncomfortable. These days if I wear a watch it's a Timex kids one with a stretchy strap.

I used to have a Fitbit that clipped to my bra or trousers, but I'd really like a new one that measures heart rate, and those all seem to be worn on the wrist.

Can anyone recommend? I've been looking at the Fitbit Inspire 3 - but it still looks like the length of the actual device will take up the whole width of my wrist, so I'm not convinced it will fit well or be comfortable.

I almost purchased a Google watch a few months ago, until I saw the size of it.

I guess they all have to be big due to the technology inside, but are there any out there that are truly a good fit for a small bony wrist?

My wrist is 5.5 and I've had no problems with the standard small Fitbit versa 2 strap.

Apple watch fits nicely on my small wrist

This is the Fibit Versa 3 on my 6" wrist, thought the pic might be helpful to visualise. I get different straps on Amazon.

My wrists are really small and my Apple Watch fits fine. I used to have the Fitbit Versa lite with a small strap and that fit fine too.

I have the adjustable straps with a choice of holes.

Hi - just to report back that I got the Fitbit Inspire 3 - it's a great fit and very comfortable.
Thanks again for all the recommendations!

@DoggyDaydreaming I am pleased you found one that fits well for you. My DD has tiny wrists and the inspire works well for her.

I ran into this exact problem a few months back. Left my charger at a hotel two states from home, and my watch died before I even noticed. That trip made me realize how little I actually trusted the battery numbers on the box.

Since then I've dug into a lot of these trackers, and the gap between "rated battery life" and what you actually get is bigger than most people expect. Garmin's solar claims especially — the "unlimited" battery thing only kicks in with real direct sunlight exposure, not just daylight hours indoors.

If it's useful, I put together a breakdown comparing real trail-tested numbers against the published specs for a few of the long-battery options (Garmin, Withings, Oura, Fitbit). Happy to share the link if anyone wants the details
