So we have just built a gym at our home and I have been using it last week quite a few times and 30min yesterday and 45min today. I am doing really good exercise routines on the bike. I have quite a bit of belly fat, but lean legs but today my stomach is already starting to look flat. Whereas last few weeks I have been really embarrassed thinking it looks like I am pregnant. I don’t understand how it could be making a difference already? I have also been eating healthy. I am wondering what exactly is happening that I am feeling so great but starting to look leaner as well? I just don’t understand how this is possible. Is the exercise helping somehow with bloating? Or tensing the stomach muscles and helping me stand straight making me look leaner? I felt like this last week as well (not quite this good though) and then didn’t exercise for 5 days because I was so sore and was feeling really big and not good again.

Probably a bit of everything.

Sweating and dropping water weight, eating well and drinking lots of water. A general tightening of everything and a keen eye for spotting progress.

Just wanted to add I haven’t lost much weight so the results feel more spiritual with just feeling great and somehow my mid section looking smaller which I can’t understand how that’s possible

Exercise definitely helps with bloating and getting the gut moving. Also (for me at least) it makes me stand straighter as I am more aware of my body.

It will be water weight, healthier eating and, as above, bloating going down as exercise keeps your gut moving. All good first steps though. Exercise is so good for you in so many ways. Enjoy your new gym!

it definitely gives so much energy which feels great.

it’s great to have the opportunity to do exercise again, def hard with kids!
