Looking for a free app to log my workouts/workout history/weight

I am just about to leave my PT as I can't afford the sessions anymore, but I would like to continue weight training on my own.

I am currently using a TruCoach subscription via the PT, which is really handy as it sends me my workout for the day and I log the weights I have completed as I go along, instead of writing them down and then losing them.

Can anyone recommend a free app to do this for me?

Bumping for you as I’d also be interested in answers to this 🙂

Strava.

Google spreadsheets ?
Garmin, keeps nagging me for the weight numbers.
Fitbit can actually do same things. You want something that auto-detects ideally.

I use Strava for my workouts and running etc I don't know if there's a bit where you can log weight though, I just use it to log workouts.

I’ve just got an app called Strong that does this. You can add weights and cardio. I’ve only got the free version but there’s a paid version that lets you log other stuff too.

I'm also leaving my PT soon and have absolutely loved the Trainerize app we've been using.

I've looked at other apps but can't find anything that has all the variations of exercises in the gym I'm used to.

I'm going to just be using Google spreadsheets and tracking progress that way.

eFitLog Gym Workout Log is my go to (perhaps since I created it)! Its free to try and you can upgrade only if you love it. Thanks.

I've tried several of the free ones and like pp not found any that let me add all the exercises I do (I do callisthenics as well as weights so need to be able to edit names and add notes - "using red band" "one legged" etc). Some of them pretended they did but when I tried, that was my "chance to upgrade"!! Or they only give you a limited number of exercises/workouts etc.

I now use Notes on my phone (actually have used this on and off all along, just occasionally wasted time setting up an app). Just write date, and sets/reps/weights/ When it get too long I delete the middle workouts and write "Deleted some" so I can still see what I started with, and the most recent workouts.

I keep a separate Note with all the exercises I do as bullet points and tick them off each week and add the day. Then on Sunday evening I delete all the ticks.

It is really flexible as you can write form or progress notes to yourself "go up next time" or whatever and you will definitely see them the next time you do the exercise.

I would pay for a good app that did all this and stored data (so it could be exported too), tracked progress, was quick and easy to use etc etc. But I've tried about 5 and they all fall short of my two Notes,
