I'm injured - have been for months and months but I loved 1000 mile , hilly twin skin and more mile. Maybe there are more fancy ones now and I need to buy some as a gift. Any recommendations? Oh and if you have a spare foot to send me as Im so fed up of PF now, then thanks !! I need to run again

Balega. Enduro for me (I think) last a long time, dry soft despite being hung on the line not put in the drier.

Another vote for the Enduro's

I love the adidas performance. Nearly always on sale. Cannot fault them.

Feetures are just ace. I often buy them as gifts for other people as well as myself.
Have you tried wearing Oofos for your PF?

Merrilydancing · 07/01/2023 23:32

Fee tyres are great, went through a massive feet soaking puddle today and feet felt dry after about a 100 metres.

Feetures!! Blood autocorrect!

SouthCountryGirl · 08/01/2023 09:34

Monkey Sox

My favourites are Stance

I recognise the other brands mentioned, and think the performance is similar across the ones I've had. So go for the ones you like the look of best (I like silly patterns, hence my choice)

FrangipaniBlue · 08/01/2023 09:38

Hillys !

If the person runs long distance then Marathon fresh or twin skins.

FeinCuroxiVooz · 08/01/2023 09:39

Stance or versus for fun designs.

EveryLittleWish · 10/01/2023 11:23

I love stance best !!!!

Howies merino

I hate synthetic socks, however technical

emmathedilemma · 12/01/2023 16:31

I used to really like Feetures ultra light in ankle length (rather than trainer liner which I find can ride down) for long runs but haven't been able to get them for ages and Decathlon do a similar one which i think is just as good for half the price.

HILLY SUPREME WOMEN'S RUNNING ANKLET (sorry for the caps, I just cut and pasted from the website).
Or the Hilly Trail one which comes higher up the leg and therefore good for when it's muddy, raining etc as less crap jumps in.

I have had three stress fractures and although I not heavy on my feet and am a forefoot runner, I like a lot of cushioning. Both these are well cushioned.

I also have a Hilly socklet but only wear those if the terrain is completely clear.

I hate anything getting in my socks.

I have not got on with twin layer ones.

I did have a pair of 1000 mile ones which I wore until they fell apart pretty much (I'm not sure how many miles they did!)

AdelaideRo · 15/01/2023 20:06

Smartwool medium cushioned ones. Ankle length.

I don't like synthetic or double layered ones.

I rarely run more than 5k though and have been out for ages with an injury.
