What point in your cycle do you have the most energy?

I’m a very regular exerciser for my whole life. Swim, cycle, run, netball, gym. So I’m fit and it’s not new.
I’ve always been aware of the ups and downs of my cycle and how that affects my endurance, strength etc but since being perimenopausal I seem to have real extremes that are much more clear cut than previously.

mid cycle now it’s like my body is working so hard to ovulate that I have zero energy or power left in me. Not helped my extreme boating and pelvic congestion at that point. I can’t even face a decent walk let alone much more and my weights class I had to go down about 4kg in my upper weights.
Last month when I got to a the day before my period I felt like a new woman and was running faster than ever.

Is this the usual pattern for energy cycles or is this just how it’s working out for me?

I find Luteal phase between ovulation and day 1 of cycle makes for very difficult running, but I have never noticed much difference in strength. The best week for me is the week after my period and before ovulation, but as I am getting older it’s getting to be less than a week and ovulation is more noticeable.

I really notice how cycle affects strength and stamina. In the lead up to ovulation I'm invincible, could lift much heavier no problem and after that point it's a struggle. Period time, absolutely no point, I may as well go to bed. I give blood too and have to not exercise the week after (makes me feel so tired).

I'm similar.

The number of times I'm wondering why I'm so sluggish and foggy, then check the calendar and realise it's day 21 of the cycle. I can then spend the next week willing my period to come to ease the bloating and tenderness. Day 3 of my cycle and I'm like a new woman wishing I could keep that feeling all month!
