Smart watches fitness tracking

Can anyone recommend a good smart watch compatible with a Samsung phone...Samsung watches are expensive! Looking something a little cheaper with good spec.

Anything decent is pricey. I'd look at a Garmin to start with

Just for running or multisport? Budget?

I have a Garmin Vivoative 4s that cost me £200 and a Fitbit Inspire 2 which was £45 (which I wear round the ankle as my Garmin doesn't track steps when I'm pushing a buggy 😂)

Depends what you want. Garmin has built in GPS so is more accurate in terms of distance but honestly that's about the main difference. I prefer the user interface in the app of fitbit, and use the Garmin for running but for general day to day the Fitbit is absolutely perfect

Everything is included in the Garmin app: long term stats, training plans etc. Fitbit is much cheaper upfront, but you have to pay a subscription to get full app functionality. If you only want a step counter, fitbit is good enough though

I have the Garmin Forerunner s45.

If you have a clubcard you can use Tesco rewards to buy various types of Fitbit. I actually had a samsung galaxy watch but couldn't get it to work with my phone and it needed daily charging. You can't answer/make calls on a fitbit though.

Another Garmin 45s. I think they're on 55s now.
Good general purpose sports/ lifestyle watch. Easy to use. Connects with phone with some functions.
