Any runners with bunions? Looking for shoes for C25k

I want to try C25k. I already walk 10k steps nearly every day but want to improve stamina. However, my feet are really wide due to bunions. I have failed to find any running shoes wide enough in the high st sports shops.

I don't have any pain from the bunions. I was wondering if there are any runners here who are similarly afflicted and where you buy your shoes.

Nike funnily enough. Massive toe box.

Also, New Look extra wide.

Go for a soft material upper and stretch laces.

I have exactly the same issue. Best I’ve found are the Brooks Adrenaline. They used to do a woman’s extra wide but I couldn’t find those last time I needed new ones so I went for a man’s wide fit which are really good with plenty of room .

Think you might need a running shop for those , plus they will give the best advice on which style will suit your running gait .
It is more expensive than the high street but will be worth it to prevent injuries,

Good luck

I've had success with Brooks and Nike in the past, and barefoot style shoes over the years as they have wider toe boxes.

Going into a sports shop on a quiet day, finding a sympathetic assistant and trying on two dozen pairs in one go is the only way to do it really.

I recently got some bunion specific hiking shoes from a brand called Hanwag so you could see if they do running shoes too.

Hoka wide fit and half to one size larger than your normal size (they run small)

Brooks Adrenaline for sure!

I always like to puma and Nike shoe for my running workouts. Really both shoes are comfortable to my foot.

I have On Cloudflyer. I bought half a size up, and they are really comfortable, roomy yet supportive. However, I've just looked and they now do a Cloudflyer Wide
