Strength and Conditioning exercises for a runner

What do you do for your strength and conditioning days?

I can feel that I need to do it more as I sometimes get calf strain and physio has already recommended me to do calf raises which helps somewhat.

Is there a Youtube routine that works if you don't use the gym? I've got dumbells and a resistance band.

TIA.

Gary house has a runners resistance work out and the runners world website has some good ones too

Body weight squats working on getting a good depth of squat so you develop mobility in your hips.

Plank with lots of variations to challenge your core strength

Hollow hold - again, brilliant for core strength

I got my fastest times when I started doing Body Pump regularly. I suspect it was the leg routines that did the trick.

unfortunately I hate pump so I'm much slower now.

Second Gary House (as an ex runner and now weight lifter)

Thank you for the ideas.

I shall definitely check out Gary House as well body pump.
