HELP! My Ass is M.I.A!!!?

12 months PP
put on 2.5 stone ( not including the baby)
have lost 3.8 stone now!( thanks to slow and steady weight loss , then a continuing illness made me drop further than i wanted ,and quickly!)
my butt was muscly and not big, before
AFTER Baby, it was flatter but still present!
NOW its a saggy , wrinkly sad pile of skin! 😫
help! Will lunges help? Squats? Will i build muscle to "fill out" the skin again?
I cannot think of being ina swimsuit on holiday with the butt of an 80 year old ex-pat on the beach! Im mortified! I actually look fine after pregnancy, until i turn around!!

Yes, yes, lunges, squats, fire hydrants, all these things will help. There will be workouts online specifically to build your bum up, don't lose hope!

Can you regularly commit to going to a gym? Resistance bands and body weight exercises won’t do much, it’s something you need to consistently train towards and with lifting heavy.

Barbell hip thrusts, split squats, cable kickbacks if you are serious about results and building string glutes.

My PT is all about women being strong and building strong glutes.

Anything that builds mass will help. So all the exercises mentioned in a previous post, and yes, gradually go heavier with the weighted glute exercises. This will build up the glutes to fill out the 'empty skin'! I have a pathetic arse too!
