I would definitely recommend a peloton bike if you have the funds. I’ve had mine a year and love it more than ever!
Pros- convenient, so many different classes and instructors, addictive format, I’m much fitter than I was a decade ago when I couldn’t get to the gym due to lack of childcare and rural home life. I use it for cycling, strength and also the app for meditation, walking and the occasional run. I try and do something everyday- even if it’s just a 5 minute meditation.
cons- expensive, but totally worth it for me (I recognise it is a luxury that I am fortunate I can afford- but I don’t drink alcohol/ smoke/ have fancy clothes/ shoes/ handbags/ nails/ beauty habits etc, so it is my treat to myself!)
I am shorter than you and have no problems with the bike settings.
V. happy to answer any questions about the bike (I don’t work for peloton, promise! Just really enjoy it!).
