How do you fit in exercise?

I love exercise, especially classes like metafit, body pump or anything to do with dancing. I manage to attend a class once a week but I know that’s not enough and I’d like to be doing more but I work full time and have child caring responsibilities either end of the day. I was just wondering if anyone provide any inspiration by sharing what works for them?

Do you have a partner? If so you just have to make sure you both get time for stuff. I use a gym with a kids club now but when they were too young one of us would go in the morning and the other one after work.

24 hour gym. So I can go when it fits in.

I feel the same. I get up at 6 for work anyway (don't think I could manage any earlier!) and home at 6pm from work. Then 1 hour with the baby before bed, then marking and everything else. It's all excuses I know - I just don't know how to fit it in! Used to go 3 x a week before baby and sport on the weekend!

She's fab. I've been doing the 5 minute belly ones and people have started asking if I've lost weight. I haven't but I had terrible ab muscles (or none). I can see and feel the difference after a week.

I make time for my workouts.
Sometimes it's easy and quick sessions and other times I have to split them up to work around the kids. If I don't feel like going in I force myself and feel better for it after, I take time off for illness and injury when needed. Longest I've had off since doing weightlifting is 3mth at end of pregnancy and post c-section, was back in 10wk pp.

I’m another one who gets up early to run before work. I get up at 5am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and am out running by 5.20, then I’m back home at about 6am, my usual get-up time.

I did C25k because it could be done late when DS2 finished his evening cluster feeds. When I was still working with young children, I would run very early or late and longer runs and a circuits class on weekend mornings.

I do Les Mills On Demand (it's about 11 quid a month but so worth it) and then I do it at night once the kids are in bed, a few times a week.

I just can't get up early to exercise, I'm far too much of a procrastinator for that!

I run to/from work. And do yoga at home before work - get up about 5am. Work 4 days a week so can do a long run on a day off.
