Swimming costume for pool swims - big tits

Am I searching for the impossible?
I swim 3-4 times a week, 50 lengths and have been wearing Speedo size 36 for years which seems to be equivalent to a 14.

I’m 10 on bottom and 12 on top and wear a 30 F (or G if I’m a bit overweight) bra.

I’d really like to find a swimming costume to fit my top half that is suitable for proper fast lane swimming. Lots of suits with ruched tummies and scoop backs which are nice for the beach but not great for the pool.

If you've found this page in search of swimwear that has been tried and tested by fellow Mumsnet users, you might find our guide to the best swimsuits for women useful. Hope this helps! MNHQ

There’s lots on here OP www.bravissimo.com/collections/sports-swimsuits/

I second bravissimo. I have one in my bra size (30HH)

CMOTDibbler · 19/11/2021 18:37

I'm the same size, and love my Deakin and Blue cossie, though tbh the cheap as chips Slazenger boy leg swim suit seems to keep everything nicely contained as it is high neckline and a fairly full back

TheCategoryIs · 19/11/2021 18:44

I like Freya Active one

Newchallenge · 19/11/2021 18:45

Second the Slazenger boyleg!

Thank you
The Slazenger I think I have tried in the past and found it didn’t last long in the chlorine, but I think it’s worth a try for £13

I’ll have a look through Bravissimo but they look a bit too beach holiday for me and I can’t see underwires working

You might find something here, OP. I've had stuff from them which was very good, but I don't need support.

I found some high neck ones with a cross back from Figleaves 2 years back, loved them so much that I bought a couple and still going strong. Not sports branded but comfortable and good for pool swimming

Babypug · 18/12/2021 17:11

I've found the speedo watergem range have worked well for me.

Perhaps one with a zip back, if it would be too awkward to get on? Zoggs had a few when I last looked at their range.

I love underwired tankinis - I swim in a pool in them frequently and find they have really good support and coverage. Fantasie are my favourite. I have in the past had underwired costumes too, which were really good. If you don't like the look of the underwire, there are often ones with two layers, an underwired bra inside, and an outer layer that makes it just look like a normal costume.

Psychonabike · 02/01/2022 19:47

You could try Lands End. Really supportive (without underwires) and good quality.

Good time to buy right now, with the sales...

The Speedo ultimate from Bravissimo is my go to for pool swims - I swim 40+ lengths around 3 times a week and it’s fairly long lasting and comfortable for me:

I got a fairly high necked Zoggs one on sale at local swimming pool and I'm 30G.
