Excellent! What did you order with it?
Hope you get into it. There are some great Peloton communities you can join which can be really motivating. Highly recommend the Power Zone programme on the bike once it arrives

Thanks, I'm really unfit so going to have to build up slowly! I got the mat for the bike to sit on and the shoes.

Just to say to anyone thinking of getting a Peloton, they are amazing! I'm five weeks in and now exercising six times a week which I can't believe! @Imissmybum I'm just starting with Power Zones, very exciting!

Hi, love your enthusiasm. I bought mine 6 months ago but can't find the motivation to get on it everyday. Are there any sessions you recommend that will assist? I am possibly trying the wrong ones for me...Grin

Badgergirl123 · 25/10/2021 23:45

Well I usually pick classes where I like the music as that helps motivate me. The leaderboard and stats are really good for me, I like having someone to chase and be able to see my improvement tracked. I started with a 20 min beginner class, moved to low impact and just moved into the 45 minute regular classes. Hoping to try power zones and hiit soon enough! I was really unfit to begin so a slow build has worked, I'm defintely fitter!

Hope you manage to find a way to get into it!

Thank you.

Ah I'm so glad @badgergirl123 ! I'm going to PM you two Facebook pages that are running powerzone based challenges between now and Christmas. Women only groups.

Imissmybum · 26/10/2021 09:35

Hi @Shai2021 I would recommend the discover your power zones programme or something similar. I was using the bike every day during the height of lockdown but now do four or five days a week - you have to be realistic about what you can do. I tend to do a 60 min, 45 min and 30 min powerzone class per week with a short climb or hiit ride plus maybe something I just like the look of. I also do strength classes
What really works for me is planning them into my week. So for example I always tend to do Monday evening, fit in a lunchtime one when WFH, I'm off work Thursday so will do a longer one in the morning and so on. The group community challenges are also great. I've done Pelofondo too where you sign up to challenge yourself to do x miles over a weekend. I've done 50 miles on a Saturday morning before. Need to aim for 75 next time!
