Want to lift weights but have prolapse

I'm coming up to 40 and feel like doing some upper body weights would be a good idea, (currently I just cycle and walk for exercise). I've got no idea how to start and worried I'll aggravate my (currently mild) prolapses swinging kettlebells around!

Anyone with a prolapse got any tips? I should say I'm skint so will be exercising at home.

I would go to a lot for a one off, I know you said you're skint but it'll be worth it to be taught properly what to do and not exacerbate the prolapse.

A PT not a lot!

Probably the best thing would be to isolate the upper body by sitting or lying on a stool or bench while you're doing the exercises. That way you are not taking any strain in the lower half of your body. Can use KB or DB.
