DH and I have decided we’d like to subscribe to one and do some workouts together.

He enjoys Kettlebells and Body Pump classes. I like fun, dance classes and Pilates.

Can anyone recommend one over the other?

If you already have other Apple stuff subscribed like the music it might be worth looking into if the cost of Apple One is justified which has the Fitness stuff included. Likewise if you've got Apple Watches cos it hooks in fairly tightly.

Can't help you on the exercise stuff though cos I'm a lard arse.

What equipment do you have to hand? Peloton has a good trial offer at the moment with 3 months free. They have cardio which includes dance, strength classes using dumbbells, some exercises could be modified to use kettlebells. I am not a fan of Les Mills or Apple fitness, worth doing the free trials first before committing. I watch some classes without moving just to see if I like the music, pace etc!

I thought you wrote Les Mis!!!! I personally would go for Les Mis....

It was Les Mills for me cause I don’t have an Apple TV so don’t fancy doing my workouts squinting at the iPhone or listening to the music through crappy iPad speakers!!!

I have LMOD and I love it. I use it most days. I was able to do Body Pump using hand weights but it's far better since I bought a studio pump barbell set. I'm also, personally, a big fan of the Body Combat and Attack programmes - I find them a lot of fun. They have dance and Step classes but they're not my cup of tea. Body Balance is a sort of yoga/pilates fusion.

They often do free trials so you could give that a go to see what you think. I've had it for 2 years and it's £12 a month well spent - I've not been to an in-person class since.

Les Mills sounds as though it has what you're both after. I've used Apple Fitness a little bit (we've got Apple watches and Apple TV), but I don't think it's quite there yet. I use the Peloton app, but I'm not sure it'll have everything that you both want.

I'd trial with free subscriptions and see which suite you best :)

Have a look at Fiit. I have both Fiit and apple and use Fiit 90% of the time. It has most of what you are looking for, except maybe the dance, but lots of interval/circuit type cardio classes to music which might work. I had a 2 month free trial initially.
