Tired legs, sore feet and 10 mile walk tomorrow

Hi! I did lots of walking on Wednesday and got quite sore feet. I rested on Thursday and yesterday (Friday) did a bit of walking to get my feet going. I'm back to quite sore legs/feet today!

What can I do to ensure I'm in the best possible form for tomorrow's walk? I can stay home all day and do very little, if necessary. Thanks!

Go for a shortish walk, come home and have a bath and eat some decent food.

Thanks for the advice. I'm worried that if I do any more walking(beyond walking in the house) I might tire my legs more...

Would a cold bath help? My husband thinks so, but I don't understand why it would.

Not see where you are but storms are forecast all day tomorrow. I wouldn’t fancy a walk let alone a 10 mile one!
Sorry, possibly not too helpful

I always feel like this when we’re in the middle of a few days of hillwalking in the Lakes. I find that a bit of light stretching or yoga (Google Yoga with Adrienne and leg or hamstrings and something should come up). It’s a bit sore at first but does break the stiffness. I also soak my feet in Radox or Epsom salts in a washing up bowl and then give them a massage with some body moisturiser or nivea.

Thanks! Yes, I've been checking the weather but it looks like the worst of it will be today, here at least.

I'll try yoga, good idea.

I second epsom salts, also you can buy some magnesium spray and use for muscle soreness.

10 miles isn't far, you'll be fine. Have a bath and eat a decent tea tonight so you're fuelled up.

I'd also check your shoes are suitably cushioned.

Insoles for your boots (gel ones are amazing) and just warm up properly eg take first half a miles steadily
