Not enough hours in day! Need to exercise

This isn't a real problem but it's stressing me out! I need to get a habit of exercising everyday, but I need a set structure for me to follow otherwise I find other ways to fill the time. I'm thinking of getting up at 6.30 to start exercising at 7 for 30 mins, then quick shower and then get my son ready for school. This is fine but I'm now overthinking time for myself in evenings, he goes to bed at 9 which is when I usually watch TV, but I will need to go to bed earlier if getting up earlier and then find time to shower to wash hair etc. Like I said bit of a silly problem, but how do people deal with this? TIA

It’s so hard isn’t it. I have realised I need to get myself into a regular routine of running in the mornings twice a week and then once at the weekend. In the evening I just don’t have the energy or inclination although I’m using down dog app to do a little yoga before bed which I like. Like you I wish I had more hours in the day!

DD9 and I do a martial arts together twice a week. Could you do something like that? Then a few short sessions at home.

I do mornings, up at 6 an hour in the gym and home by 7.30 to get kids ready for school. I shower at home and get ready for work. I know it just wouldn’t happen in the evenings - I’m too tired and the kids need my attention so I know I’d make excuses not to do it.

I get up at six. I know it's done and it sets me up for the day. There is always something happening in the evening.
