Fitness trackers that counts steps while pushing a pram

Does anyone have any recommendations for a fitness tracker/watch that will count steps while pushing a pram/buggy.

Had ds just over a week ago and keen to get back into walking and my fitness back. Currently have a garmin Vivoacymtive 4s and disappointingly it doesn't seem to be tracking my steps while pushing the pram.

Wondered if anyone had any suggestions for another watch that does.

I stick my garmin in my bra - seems reasonable accurate so far for steps & HR.

I used to have the very old basic fitbit when my kids were little and I attached it to my bra. Unfortunately, it did end up in the washing machine one too many times.

Oops! Shock I don’t attach mine - just stick it in the cup. I am ‘blessed’ with big enough hooters to accommodate a massive watch easily though - might not work with less industrial bras!

My Fitbit tracks it as cycling but on the app you can change the activity afterwards to walking- I'll be honest I don't know how accurate it is but it all helps to my overall step count x

Apple Watch does
Are you sure? Mine doesn't (it tells you it doesn't if you read up their info on it) - the 'step counter' is just arm swings so it's pretty much useless if you're pushing or carrying anything (similarly bad at detecting if I've stood up for a minute, again arm movements.

But it works very well if you turn on the activity app to outdoors walking which uses GPS position.

I just keep my iPhone in my pocket and use that to count steps
