Looking for some inspiration for at home workouts - I really enjoy Yoga with Adrienne videos but would love to hear what you all like.

I like the sweat app. Loads of workouts and I have got really strong doing it at home.

CovoidOfAllHumanity · 28/03/2021 12:53

I got a couple of kettlebells and they are my favourite bit of home exercise equipment. So much stuff you can do with them, a great blend of cardio and strength and good with limited space.

If I am pushed for time I just do alternating blocks of kettlebell swings and goblet squats. Maybe add some push ups and planks and some rows with the kettlebell for upper body and job done.

You do need a bit of instruction to get the form right at first but after that you have yourself an amazingly compact, versatile bit of kit. I started with an 8kg and a 12kg and now I have a 10kg and a 16kg as well. I use the lighter ones for upper body like windmills and overhead pressing and the heavier ones for swings and lower body stuff.

I love Les Mills on Demand. So much variety, there's always something to do (with or without equipment) whatever your mood.

LilyLolo81 · 28/03/2021 13:12

I love Bodyfit by Amy on YouTube. A really good mix of workouts, some with equipment and some without.

vintagenurse · 28/03/2021 13:15

My faves on YouTube are Sydney Cummings, Tracy Steen, Heather Robertson and Caroline Girvan. You will be spoilt for choice!

MyFloorIsLava · 28/03/2021 13:16

I use the FitOn app. Loads and loads of free workouts of every variety. The app sets a programme for you to follow if you want. Completely converted me from someone who never exercised to someone who works out 4/5 times a week totally consistently. I've gone from using 1kg dumbbells to 5kg ones. Love it.

Energise with Sam . Co .uk

GintyMcGinty · 28/03/2021 14:20

Les Mills on Demand.

Mostly I do Body Combat but sometimes do Body Attack or Sh'Bam if I fancy an extra 20-30 mins of exercise.

MrsJacksonAvery · 28/03/2021 14:31

I love fitness marshall! He’s got me through all the lockdowns.

HermioneWeasley · 28/03/2021 14:34

Another vote for Les Mills app

Xiaoxiong · 28/03/2021 14:36

Fit By Coach Kel is wonderful. You can try her stuff for free on YouTube first to see if you get on with it. It's barre/sculpt/tone stuff, lots of core work and most importantly for me - no jumping so I can do the videos when the kids are in bed and also my downstairs neighbours don't hate me!!

You can do most of the videos without any equipment, or just stuff you have at home like tins of beans or a rolled up towel or stuffed toy instead of a Pilates ball. And hold onto the back of a chair or kitchen counter for a barre.

Somanyshoes · 28/03/2021 14:43

I'll second Sydney Cummings, she's got stacks of great workouts on Youtube.

@LilyLolo81

I love Bodyfit by Amy on YouTube. A really good mix of workouts, some with equipment and some without.
I love this too. Mixed with Yoga with Lottie Murphy
mymymy0 · 28/03/2021 20:06

Oh I meant Pilates with Lottie Murphy

PurpleBirch · 28/03/2021 20:09

Les Mills on Demand.

After years of 20 -30 mins HIIT workouts, I now regularly do the 55 mins Bodycombat or Bodypump (there’s lots shorter too). It’s fabulous and has changed my figure.

SunnyNights · 28/03/2021 20:35

Fitness blender is excellent, totally free and hundreds of different workouts to choose from. I do 2-3 a week

Sammysquiz · 28/03/2021 20:52

I love Fiit. It’s not free, but there’s so many brilliant classes - yoga, pilates, barre, weights, cardio, resistance bands etc.

Wineloffa · 28/03/2021 21:26

I love Yoga with Adrienne and Yoga with Tim.

For more strenuous exercise, I’ve only recently discovered Jillian Michaels and I absolutely love her! I’m almost finished her 30 Day Shred, combining it with Yoga Meltdown. Next I plan on doing 6 Week, 6 Pack with Yoga Inferno. She’s brilliant!

JustSaying101 · 28/03/2021 21:32

Following this with interest! Looking for some new home workouts to try too. Currently trying Pamela Reif for some short workouts - there is selection on YouTube. Definitely feel it the next day though!

lorn195 · 28/03/2021 21:43

Heather Robertson is definitely up there, one of the best on YouTube.

Midlifelady · 28/03/2021 21:45

Throwback: the only ones I could do repeatedly was Cindy Crawford's The Next Challenge and Jane Fonda.

Shopgirl1 · 03/04/2021 21:45

I like Jillian Michaels- I did 30 day shred and it helped lose pregnancy weight and have gone back to her now and am doing ripped in 30.

Kimye4eva · 03/04/2021 21:52

Bodyfit by Amy, Sydney Cummings and The Body Project have got me through the last year. I have some dumb bells and a kettle bell but they all have loads of no equipment workouts too.

I really liked the Body Coach for a while but found it too high impact (my knees suffered) and too much core in every workout when I was still recovering from pregnancy/ c section. Bodyfit by Amy is especially good for providing lots of options if you need them. (Did my first full press ups yesterday post birth so it’s obviously done me some good!)

wishywashywoowoo70 · 03/04/2021 22:39

Les Mills on demand gets my vote too.

Lots of choices of exercises.
Different length workouts

Dartsplayer · 03/04/2021 22:49

Get Fit with Rick and Walk at Home with Leslie Sansome are my favourites so far but I might give some of the above a try
