How to develop Quads

Hi,

I'm exercising regularly since Jan last year, have seen a huge improvement on my body, lost weight toned up on arms and abs, legs definitely look more toned and shaped, but I don't seem to be able to see a good development/improvement on my quads. I do weight training and cardio (run or spin bike). 6x per week. 1 rest day. Also pilates 1x per week (inside the 6 days) but been suspended for a long time bc Covid.

I'd like them to be beautiful and a bit out there, if you seen what I mean, when you're able to see the muscle just by ordinary legs movement and not having to force the legs in some way to show it.

Has anyone succeeded in growing beautiful quad muscles?

I don't want them to be big, so definitely not like a body builder, just beautiful toned and shaped "look those quads" type.

Anyone?

Currently trying to build my quads on advice of a physio to prevent running injuries rather than getting them looking good but she has me doing a lot of various types of squats lunges with weights, single leg lifts, single leg glute bridges etc.
You could try those, I would love my quads to look the way you describe so maybe there will be an additional benefit Blush

Mainly squats, with weights is good, but mainly with the focus on squatting as deeply as possible, knees parallel to ground or lower if possible then build up with weight from there if you can.
To grow bodybuilder type quads you'd have to be eating masses of protein, doing some really heavy weights, and have masss of testosterone, and even then it'd take you years

Squats & lunges- look up Courtney Black on Instagram. She does live workouts which are excellent. Her quads are insane Grin

Squats & lunges - just bodyweight.

Do 100 squats a day - 4 x 25 at a time. You'll get quads, and glutes & abs of steel.
