I've recently started jogging, I'm going every day. Only managing about 3k but I'm comfortable with that and will look to increase that soon. Can I ask you for any songs that really spur you on! I have Spotify and I've looked at running albums but I haven't found that much I like! I have a good few songs but I'd love to get some more on there so hit me!

My running playlist has quite a lot of fast, clubby tunes on it. I need a good beat as it makes me run faster!

Blister in the Sun by the Violent Femmes is the song that makes me excited to put my trainers on.
Spotify do have set BMP playlists but I prefer to mix it up and listen to music I really enjoy, sometimes I do stick one on though just for a bit of variety!

My running play list is all over the place. Got black eye peas Pump it, tenacious D (several of their songs), a few songs from rocky horror, Queen Don't stop me now, Dance monkey and sucker for pain amongst others.

I love the Spotify BPM option. I also like some rogue options which make me have a dance in my head while running.

I can't run and listen to music as earphones always fall out of my ears if I don't keep perfectly still, but I very often have a tune going around in my head. Interesting a couple of people have mentioned Sex On Fire, as that's the one that seems to work perfectly with my "pacing myself" speed (although it's possible the music in my head is not the same speed as the original record)!

Stick ‘em on, run. They stay out and you won’t notice they’re there (except for the music, obvs!)

@VanillaAndOrange I just use a headband. One of those Hygge jobs and it keeps the ear phones in.

After Shokz are brilliant, because they allow you to hear ambient sound, like cars coming, bike bells, etc. Much safer. I swear by mine.

Aftershockz are the best headphones I've ever had! And I've been through loads over the years.

(I’m glad other people came on saying they liked aftershockz. I was worried I sounded like I worked for them)

I had a really good run today, was doing 8km, I hit 7 of the 8 and Eminem's Lose Yourself came onto my playlist. I swear I flew the last 1km. An excellent running song

@RamsayBoltonsConscience Eminem came on my play list today, wow! I loved it, perfect rhythm for my slow c25k but I felt like I was flying!!!

Just added Eminem to my playlist I'm doing c25k for the second time and did w5r3 today - oof! Definitely need some decent inspiration to get me to the end of week 9.

We built this city on rock and roll is in all my jogging mixes.
