I had posted this on the weight loss chat board, maybe I can get exercise advice on here though.
I have been happily losing weight since September, around 2lbs a week. So far I'm down 60lbs, still another 40lbs to go though.
I'm 55 years old, 5'4, was 240lbs, now 180, should be around 140lbs.
I'm eating OMAD and walking around 5k a day for exercise.
All in all I am very pleased with my progress.
This morning though I caught myself in the mirror, the sun shining in seemed to catch the fact that I am beginning to look like a melting candle. Skin is very crepey and shit looking really. I'm not a candidate for Skin Tight yet, but not looking good blush
I understand that older ladies and a big weight loss is probably not a good combination hmm
I don't want to alter what I'm doing as after years of yo-yo dieting I have found something that is working, doesn't feel restrictive and I can do long term.
I just bought hand weights (3kg) and have recently started doing pilates.
Do I just have to accept the sagging, icky skin, avoid the mirror/sun combo or is there something more constructive I can do?
