Which fitness app subscription - LMOD, JM or Apple?

Hi all, I’m five months post baby and looking to get moving again. I’ve enjoyed Jillian Michaels (30DS and a kettle bell dvd) before and also enjoyed LM classes in the gym over the years.
I got an Apple Watch for Christmas so am also considering trying Apple fitness but want to choose one and commit to it rather than doing all free trials as I probably won’t do anything!
In between home schooling a four year old and the baby my time is limited.
Our house is very small so whilst I can do 30DShred and Joe Wicks, I would struggle to run about doing Body Attack or Combat I think.

For a year it looks like LMOD is most expensive at £95 a year, Apple is £79 and I think JM is similar.

I don’t have room for equipment like step or barbell etc so can only do classes with hand weights/kettle bell.

Has anyone tried these apps (can’t find many U.K. reviews of JMs app) or recommend one in particular? Thanks!

Hi, there is a LMOD thread so you could have a look at that. I do it and love it. Combat can be done in a small space I would say - you might have to adapt a couple of things. How much space do you have?

Thanks! I would say I’ve got 2x2m rug in the front to work out on 😖 and other than my hand weights, no room for other equipment!

It’s weird how popular the JM DVDs are but no threads on here about people using her app?

I use the JM app! I like it but preferred the FIIT app- seemed to have more variety.

WHatever you do, I recommend resistance bands - cheap, take no space, many uses

Also you can get at least two weeks free on LMOD, often one month. Probably similar with the others. So you could try them all, have some fun, and then decide?

Only one I've used is Apple Fitness, and I've not done much of it. I like the interface with your watch, that's pretty cool, and a good variety of disciplines. It needs a bit of tweaking, but I think that will come with time.

I have free access to the Peloton app through my health insurance, and I've really enjoyed it. Again, a good variety of disciplines, although obviously spinning is their main schtick. We've got an old spin bike, and a tread in our garage, so works well for me. It's £12.99 a month normally.

Finally, I've enjoyed using (free) Fitness Blender, might be worth a look before you decide to go down a paid route?
