I run a lot and have accumulated lots of running tights, but think I can squeeze one more pair in. Ideally they would have a phone pocket and some compression and be super comfortable. And not boring black!

Lucy Lockets?

mamaoffourdc · 04/01/2021 14:13

Lululemon ❤️

helloxhristmas · 04/01/2021 14:13

Fabletics

Get the two for £24 offer and then cancel. They are the best leggings I've ever had.

Peanutbutterblood · 04/01/2021 19:05

Fabletics, service is shit but the leggings are amazing. Next time I need a new pair I'll be using DHs email to get the 2 for 24

I had some from Lucy locket but there is a Seam which runs through the groin and looks awful

fellrunner85 · 04/01/2021 19:13

How much do you run - what sort of mileage? As clearly something you'd want for 10k isn't the same as what you'd need for 20 miles. I have leggings for different occasions!

nicknamehelp · 04/01/2021 19:18

Lucy locket as they stay up, good thickness, good size pocket on back plus some great different designs.

AlwaysColdHands · 04/01/2021 19:19

Sweaty Betty - sale on at the mo

Username7521 · 04/01/2021 19:20

Sweaty Betty then lululemon.

Stumpedasatree · 04/01/2021 20:40

@fellrunner85 up to marathon distances...generally I'd wear my 2XU compression ones for that, but I don't find them comfortable for day to day shorter runs.

I’m wearing Nikes from ASOS and they’re fab. They are black but with hi vis swooshes etc.

Anjelika · 04/01/2021 21:18

I'm not sure it's all down to the brand. I have a lovely Sweaty Betty pair I treated myself to in the Black Friday sale. I would have bought 2 pairs but this was the only one that fitted just right from the 6 pairs I tried on. I have one pair from H&M which fit really well but I had to try on about 5 pairs to find one that fitted properly. I also have 1 Adidas pair and 1 Under Armour pair that fit just right.

NigellasMicrowave · 04/01/2021 21:25

Sweaty Betty power leggings.

mrsnibblesisahero · 04/01/2021 21:32

Love my oegeenier ones from Amazon, cheap, fit perfectly, pocket, the lot. LOVE them.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 04/01/2021 21:38

Sweaty Betty power leggings. They stay up, have a great pocket and have plenty of compression so there’s no stretchy skin pain even when running in the cold.

I wanted to love the two pairs of Lucy lockets I have but they’re rubbish compared to even some cheaply Amazon basics I ordered. They go completely white in various places as they seem to stretch non uniformly. They don’t stay up. The pocket is tiny. I like the prints but for me they didn’t live up to the hype at all. Which ones do those who love them have?

EmmaStone · 05/01/2021 10:16

Yup Sweaty Betty, sale ends soon, and stock is pretty limited (as the whole world is living in leggings and sweatpants at the moment Grin).

fellrunner85 · 05/01/2021 10:51

My two favourites are Nike and Ronhill. I tend to use my Nikes for longer road runs and Ronhill for fell runs, as they're that bit thicker and can withstand more weather.

From experience, LucyLocketLoves, Fabletics and other gym/fashion brands are shite and don't stand up to proper distance running. Though are fine for shorter gym classes etc.

What's Sweaty Betty sizing like? Tempted by the sale.

AuntieStella · 06/01/2021 10:01

Decathlon tend to be in fairly bland colours, but are the best VFM by a mile (quality is excellent, don't go see thru, oodles of pockets and a drawstring)

Or Nike - some are more colourful. I got a pair in the sales a couple of years ago and they are indeed very good

allfurcoatnoknickers · 07/01/2021 18:27

Another vote for Sweaty Betty. The power leggings are so good! I'm wearing a pair right now.

EasterIssland · 07/01/2021 23:37

Would you consider sweat beauty for yoga ? Or better for running.?

allfurcoatnoknickers · 10/01/2021 01:31

@EasterIssland Depends on the leggings. I like the Power and Zero Gravity for cardio and lifting and the All Day leggings for yoga/pilates/stretching.

Flyingwiththecanons · 10/01/2021 09:51

Tikiboo

LoveFromDeauville · 10/01/2021 09:53

I have numerous pairs at a range of price points and I have to say that I rate my Gap leggings as most comfortable. I run a lot as well as barre core and yoga so have tried a lot.

Looneytune253 · 10/01/2021 10:37

These are my faves from sports direct. So comfortable and flattering!!

Looneytune253 · 10/01/2021 10:38

No pocket tho sorry

Ulelia · 10/01/2021 10:42

Seconded for decathlon - their long thermal leggings are amazing. Drawstring, big pockets, warm, good compression and comfortable. Last well also. Mine have outlasted some under armour and Ron Hill bought at the same time and probably worn fewer times.
