Reformer Pilates

I went to a taster class yesterday and although I ache I think this would be good for me. For anybody who has done this I wonder if you could help me with how often I should do it. The gym sells packs of either one class a week two classes a week or unlimited classes. I feel that I should do it at least three times a week but as I have been away from exercise for so long I wonder if that is too ambitious. For anybody who does this does the jump from two to three classes a week make that much difference? Thank you

It depends on your age and fitness levels I guess. Reformer is harder than mat pilates, but it's still not a heavy duty workout IMO. If I were you I would start with 2x a week and build on that so that you can have 2 days in between to recover. Add other forms of exercise if you can.

To compare, for example, I currently do it twice a week, but exercise 6 times.

Thanks - I think I am going to try and do three a week - it has been a while since I exercised
