Best all round fitness watch

I have a TomTom watch I've had for a while but it's years old and rather clunky and ugly. At the time I liked it for running as I could save music on it. I wear it all the time including for work so I want something a bit nicer

I'm not sure I want a smart watch (text messages and apps?) but i would consider it.

Important features

  • tracking steps
  • tracking exercise (runs / walks and gym or cardio workouts)
  • tracking sleep

(I assume most do this so maybe it's more about the look!)

I don't want one of this thin Fitbit ones though the versa ones look on as do garmin and even apple watches but they are pricey.

There are just so many!

I've got a pretty basic Garmin 35 which does all that. I think all of them do your basic list, so it would cime down to how it looks and how much you want to spend.

If you want music, you'll need to go for a higher spec (ie more expensive) like the 245

Thanks. I went on the Garmin site today and fell in love with a £400 watch. It's rose gold with a black face

Above my price range but so pretty!

Then again I'm WFH all the time so don't need a beautiful gold watch! I want one that looks nice but plastic / rubber is fine?

I am put off by Fitbit as they have a few watches out but some of the features can only be used if you pay for an £8 subscription and I think that's a bit cheeky!
