Help me fall in love with my spin bike!

DD was born Feb 2019 and I decided that I would treat myself to a nice spin bike for home as I'd always enjoyed spinning pre children. I have used it precisely 3 times and it's now sitting in the garage gathering dust Blush
I've just bought myself a gel seat cover but can anyone recommend any good online spinning videos that are motivating? I think I'm missing the buzz of being in a class with loud music and other people. The YouTube videos I've found so far just have the most dire music and are so uninspiring. Thanks in advance!

You need a peloton subscription! It's the best.

Can you not put a TV in front of it?

Les Mills on Demand has loads - The Trip is brilliant!

Les Mills & Peloton - both really good and you can usually get a free trial of them to try them out.

I use Les Mills because I like the other programmes they offer - pump, combat etc They have 2 types of spin class (and multiple classes within each category) sprint, rpm and the trip. I did a trial of Peloton and think their spin classes are very good and more varied than Les Mills. I loved that you could choose by genre of music as well as length of class, intensity etc.

That should say 3 types of spin class!

In front of the TV, watch something compelling or music channel. Start with a challenge of 15 mins as soon as you get home, build it up. Don't forget some standing, jumping etc

My stepson swears by Swif.

I use dvds of virtual hikes, runs and bike rides. Easier than streaming. I just have the ambient sounds on and something to watch, to take my mind off the boredom. My bike lives in the living room, tucked out the way. Easy access means I use it 5 days a week.

Thank you all, some great ideas! Just had a look at the Peleton app and it looks great - I didn't realise you didn't need the fancy bike to do it!

Another vote for the Peloton App, I've had a free trial and it's been great - I've never done spinnng classes really, and I've really enjoyed Peloton - I like Leanne Hainsby's classes.

Les Mills on Demand

Have a look at the Trip, RPM and build up to Sprint (HIIT on a bike). I have a tv screen in front of my bike and it's linked to my iPad. I put in my ear pods and I'm off.

@omega3 If you haven't tried the spinning classes you really must. The time whizzes by and no issue of boredom at all! I can imagine just sitting and pedalling is pretty tedious and boring but a spin class is so much more than that.

Les mills and peloton. I have both. Love both as they are different sonnets of variety. Peloton instructors are so motivating!
