I have the Fitbit Inspire HR. It does the job I want it too.
Steps
Heartbeat
Calories used
Distance walked
Sleep

I agree with fellrunner85, most runners I know have a Garmin and even the more basic Garmins have so much built in to help you run better. The coach capability really got me into running in the last few months.

Lots of people here saying use Garmin and yet the Amazon reviews really aren't great.

I have a Fitbit Inspire (non HR) that I wear clipped to my bra, I really like it, but I only really use it for counting steps and tracking sleep. I use my Fitbit steps for my exercise calories on MyFitnessPal. I love the alarms, I much prefer to wake up to a buzz on my wrist than a beeping alarm. I think it's pretty accurate for what I use it for, I don't think anything you wear on your wrist is going to count steps that well.

I do have a Garmin Forerunner for running, which I wear a lot as an everyday watch too. It doesn't track steps so well, but is great for running (I have a separate chest strap HR monitor for thar) and has a really nice clear face and some smart watch features (though accidentally triggering the "find my phone" feature in meetings is a bit embarrassing!)
