Move over Jillian, there’s a new masochist in town

Long ago I started my fitness journey with Jlian (and I do still love her)

But I’ve just discovered a new guru, Caroline Girvan, who is doing lots of YouTube videos. Worth searching her out, and she has the good grace to look knackered when doing a 20 minute burpee workout.

Just thought I’d share as I think she’s newish to social media.

I’m also loving Pamela Reif but I think she might actually be a machine because no one should be able to do a hardcore ab workout for 20 minutes and still look perfect.

Any one else found any good new workouts during lockdown?

I'm currently doing Chloe Ting workouts. She's amazing and never breaks a sweat!

Thanks for the recommendation. I’m trying to mix it up a bit. The thigh workout looks good.

I’m really enjoying emkfit’s HIIT Hop workouts- especially the 2000s emo and the 80s one. They’re not the most hardcore workouts, but her entire vibe gets me happy and energised so I use them on my meh days, and they really gear me up to keep going. (I once started one with the intention of only doing a song or two and ended up doing nearly an hours worth of dancing and challenges)

Madfit on YouTube is also pretty good.

DD and I have been doing a combination of Heather Robertson, Chloe Ting and Pamela Reif. I find Heather Robertson the best all rounder but Pamela Reif ab workouts definitely seem to be doing their thing. We are also amazed at how she finishes the session as perfect as she started, with no break between exercises! Deffo a machine!

I will have a look at Caroline Girvan.
