I hate running but I used
To Enjoy the rowing machine in the gym when

Are they enough to lose weight ? It seems lower impact than running?

You've written your post like a poem!

No exercise is 'enough to lose weight'. It will tone you up but you need diet to lose weight.

As an ex rower it's excellent cardiovascular exercise but it will also bulk up a thigh quite nicely!

Good ergo's are pretty expensive though waterrowers or Concept2 are in the £1000s

Op I’m following because I similarly used to enjoy the rowing machine but cannot get into running bc I have too big boobs..
But I need to get my lower half really strong as I have a young DC who can’t walk (yet) and have to do a lot of carrying
