Tips for runnining

Really want to try and do 5k finding it really difficult when running any tips ??? Or teqniques

Couch to 5k app is amazing. I just completed it and would have never thought I could do it before.

Go slow. Then slower still. Build stamina first. Speed comes with time.
Warm up by moving around.
Cool down with a return to walking and a stretch.
Have rest days.

I struggled with c25k but used the Nike running club app instead, started with their guided runs and built up to 5k over about 4 weeks. Loved it!
10k next!

The Running Channel on YouTube is fab, I have learned loads from their clear and interesting videos. I am following a plan on my Garmin watch (sounds like the nike running app) that gauges how well I'm doing and plans runs for me at different paces. It's really helped take the decision making out of it so I just do what my watch says!
