For the first time in three months!!!

Gyms have reopened here (not UK) so did my first session, was AMAZING Shock Very strict rules in place and members are only allowed in for 45 minutes at a time so I had to use the time wisely.

I'm smiling now but will probably be whimpering when I try to get out of bed tomorrow morning Grin

What were the rules you had to follow, could you shower before leaving?

I'm curious what rules were for pool users, too.

ps: could you change clothes at all, or did you have to arrive & leave in the work out kit, even including shoes.

I genuinely hate you right now!!!!!

purrswhileheeats · 15/06/2020 20:15

Sorry Simon! 😘

Changing rooms closed
Only one person per 10 square metres
Machines 2m apart (floor markers in place)
Temperatures checked as you go in
Have to pre book sessions (classes and cardio/weights room)
Very strict about 45 minutes time limit
Staff wear gloves & masks but members don't have to
Sanitiser and wipes everywhere
Members must bring their own mats

It did seem to work pretty well. There's no pool there ragged so one less complication. My bag was taken off me - I was asked to leave it in the car but as I'd walked there, not possible.

so no showers?

ta 4 info. Where would you have put car keys if you had a car (with no bag, I mean).

I'm desperate to get back to spinning. In fat and unfit but discovered it in January and it's the only exercise I could see myself sticking to. I was going x 3 a week. Was spinning on op?

purrswhileheeats · 15/06/2020 20:20

No showers, toilets or lockers. I would've handed my car key in at the desk if I'd driven.

Spinning is on 3 x a week, not a class I like but I suppose it's an easy one for the staff to manage as they can arrange the bikes before people arrive for the class?
