Not sure if this is the right place to put this but looking for some advice! Trying to shift some pounds put on in lockdown I’m ‘slim’(ish) but certainly not in shape..
I’ve made myself a work out routine that I can stick to and doing this daily for the last 2 weeks (think 2 reps of 20 sit ups, bicycle crunches, plank etc). My question is, is it OK to do the exact same routine everyday or better to mix it up with different exercises every day or every other day?
I’m also trying to do 10k steps daily and cut out the snacks and treats.
If anyone also has any top tips they wish to share I.e best times to work out would be so appreciated! Thanks

Hmm I’m not sure but it sounds so boring OP! Can you not do some HIIT workouts on YouTube instead?

It doesn't matter if the routine is the same, but consistency is key!

Better to mix it up imo so you don’t get bored.

Thanks for the replies!

I know it might get boring, sometimes i struggle with the new exercises when I do YouTube workouts or miss some and feel like I end up doing less, then I lose the motivation. Plus I am a bit of a boring soul Grin
Any particular workouts anyone would recommend for beginners?

I’m using Fitness Blender workouts on YouTube and it’s amazing how one week you can’t do something or can only do a few of something then the next you’re smashing it! My fitness has improved so much in lockdown.
