Week 4 Run 3 done, feeling pretty pleased with myself so thought I’d have a wee look at what next week has in store...big mistake 😳

Run 1- 3 X 5 mins. I reckon I can do that 🙂

Run 2- 2 X 8mins. Ooh that’s a bit of a jump! 😟

Run 3- 20mins. What just run? For 20 whole mins? What in one go? What the actual F...?!?? 🤯

I've done a little experiment this week - I'm on week 5 (run 2 is tomorrow), at the end of run 1 yesterday when you do the cool down walk, I kept running through to the end of that - which is an extra 5 minutes I think. I managed to do it, which for a woman of my size is quite a feat and I'm proud! I had a very long (an hour!) cool down walk afterwards. I love this programme!! I never would have been able to do this 4 weeks ago!!

I've also started eating Keto friendly. I am officially a carb-free zone! 🙈

I just did my w5r3 - not going to lie it was hard going and I was barely running toward the end but I managed it and then a 45 minute stroll home in the rain after. There is absolutely no way I would have been able to do this 6 weeks ago. I could barely manage 60 seconds on w1r1.

I changed the order. I did:

w5, R1
W5, R2
W6, R1
W6, R2
W5, R3
W6, R3

It made more sense to me.

I’ve just done w5r3. I pleased I managed it in the rain, I feel like a proper runner now. Onto the next run.
