My son 16 and I are doing couch 2 5 k plus 15 minutes hit - squats crunchies plank press ups and Russian twists plus 5 Tibetans yoga. We are on week 4 this week things are going well can anyone suggest an easy diet routine to lose 1lb per week or is it just a question of MFP ? I find it a pain to track and get enough protein

Totally depends on various circumstances,
tbh. Do you have much weight to lose? Why do you struggle to eat protein - are you vegan? What do you eat at the moment?

And how are you finding c25k?

You might get better advice on how to lose a lb a week if you ask MNHQ to move this to 'weight loss chat'

I found that eating less was the only way, and that using MFP helped make sure I did that (measuring everything and including everything, no point in cheating on yourself)

@runningonempty84 I wd like to lose a stone same for my son but more wanting better fitness and tone. Couch 25k is fine and enjoying it. We walk alternate days the total circuit is 7km
Normal day food Dorset cereal 75gr with full fat milk and grated apple and raspberries then Guosto plant based meal or veggie meal about 1500 cals per day

Diet for weight loss, exercise for fitness. Do you only eat 2 meals a day? You could be under eating and hence finding it hard to loose weight.
