Anyone want to join?
There must be lots of us getting into the high mileage now, in prep for London/Manchester/Edinburgh...or any of the other spring marathons.

How's it going? Are you aiming for a time? And are you finding the long runs so tiring?!

I'm doing one long run a week of around 90 mins , the rest around 50 mins . I'm hoping it's not going to be restricted but quite likely I suppose

Secretly glad not to be running the Manchester marathon on Sunday. It's going to be 19 degrees. I did London in 17 degrees and that was very hard work.

I'm still gutted Sad I'm not great in heat, but better than snow or strong wind.

Also gutted about Manchester and simultaneously glad I didn't have to run in the heat. I don't do well in hot weather.

I did a tribute though, two half marathon distance runs over the weekend.

I've started getting up at the crack of dawn to get a run in, just too many people around to get into the flow.

I've kicked off a new training plan just to keep the momentum. I'm hoping my July ultra will go ahead, but we'll see. Either way I need something to aim for.

Well, today’s the day. Except it isn’t!

I’m not sure if I should mark the day somehow - maybe a not-fully-essential shopping trip to get my favourite post-race sweeties?

I’m not even sure VLM can realistically go ahead in October - will we really see any massive events this year?
