Swimming costume and gym clothes recommendations for plus size

After 5 years of either being pregnant or breastfeeding I'm 2 stone overweight and desperate to get my body back to feeling fit.

I've just joined a lovely gym with a great pool. I feel self conscious though. Where would people recommend for larger/ flattering gym gear and swimming costumes ( currently size 16-18)? I'm wearing my pre children size 14 stuff which looks awful and isn't helping my confidence.

I'm a size 18/20 and have got swimsuits from simply be (magisculpt) that were good. Got a nice purple one with ruching around the stomach - did hide sime of the fat!! Held the boobs in so could properly swim! More expensive, but Simply be have a swimsuit sale at moment. Otherwise m&s were surprisingly good for a plain swimsuit. Can't help re gym clothes though - haven't been in ages

ASOS is good for gym clothes, they have their own range and also stock Nike/Puma/Adidas plus size too

If you're swimming for fitness at the pool, get a Speedo sculpture swimsuit. Holds everything in. They're supposed to go on tight. You'd fit a 16 (speedo size 38) I think.

I like Decathlon for gym gear.

I have this one from Decathalon

Which is literally the only thing giving me the confidence to get into a pool at the moment. I wear it with knee length gym leggings over the top. Definitely size up.
