Running tracker for time and distance

I dont really need it to do anything else. Just need to be able to easily see how long I've been running and how far I've gone. So a nice large and clear display. Must have GPS. I'm so overwhelmed by search results that offer so many functions. Any ideas anyone?

For gps can't go wrong with Garmin. F35 is a good basic model

Garmin are great, but if you want cheap then have a look at the Huawei ones. I had a band 2 which does the basics really well - just as good as my garmin. GPS is good and the app that it comes with is great. There's a Band 3, maybe 4 out now.

My Garmin is prettier, but if they had nicer looking Huawei ones I'd definitely have stuck with them.

Thanks for the recommendations. Really appreciate it. Have gone for the Garmin as it might be easier for me to see without my reading glasses Blush.

I use Strava on my mobile phone.

Are they any fitness trackers that reliably track running activity automatically? Without having to 'set' it or start/stop? As well as tracking steps per day etc? Sorry if I'm hijacking the thread!

I can't keep checking Strava when my phone is strapped to my arm inside a waterproof cover.

@Brimful I think my Garmin does this. I don't really use it, but it seems to think I use this elliptical machine every time I do the school run... so in that vein, I'm not sure how reliable it is, but there is a setting.
