I’ve hurt my knee running and am gutted as I have a big race coming up in November that required a significant investment from me as it’s in another country. I really, really need to train for it.
It’s not hugely painful - just a bit sore when I bend it to sit down/stand up. I can walk without any pain at all. I’m trying to rest it and taken Brufen.
Has anyone got any experience of this? I am genuinely upset as I’ve been training so hard all year for this race. From googling it kind of sounds like ‘runner’s knee’...? There was no actual injury and I ran happily all last week - it just started to hurt.
