Exercise recommendations after c section

Hi. I had a c section 2 weeks ago, I’m healing well and not taking any pain relief now. At the moment I’m doing gentle walks with baby in the pram and looking to start swimming again after 6 weeks. Can anyone recommend any other exercises to do now?
I’m normally very active and exercise 5-6 times per week. I have bought the Jillian Michaels post natal dvd but I was unsure whether I could do this now? Has anyone else used it after a c section?

Afaik sticking to gentle walking until the 6 weeks has passed is recommended. It sounds like you're healing well so don't want to jeopardise that. I didn't have a C section but did have abdominal surgery in the past and found that by 6 weeks I felt able to resume a normal workout

I would stick to gentle walking.

I overdid things too soon after my section (hoovering at 3 weeks) and ended up back in hospital!
