Volunteer at junior park run

I have recently discovered park run and I love it. I’m slow, and sometimes I have to stop and walk a bit, but I love the community atmosphere, the fresh air and the exercise.

I occasionally take my nephews to the junior park-run and would like to volunteer as a marshal - but is it weird if I don’t have kids who are running?

No! Not at all.

I was timekeeper this morning and my kids weren't there. Please volunteer!

Absolutely not weird at all. We have Run Directors with no running children.

Brilliant thank you. I feel bad not volunteering at the 5k, but I really need the practice. The kids one is great fun and I get to volunteer without missing a run.
