Really thin, large - xl really, need to walk from shower to get changed in changing room. I'm looking for those micro absorbent hammam style I think.

I want a small one for my hair too. My normal beach towels are too thick to slug around.

I’ve got these. I’ve got Large for body and Medium for hair. They also do an XL.

I’ve had them ages and just stick them in quick wash in washing machine with detergent but no fabric softener and they’re still going strong

£1 item in poundland, because you'll lose it so not worth spending more? Oh well, that's my strategy.

Why would you lose it?

I've lost loads of things at swimming pools, over the decades. Left towel AND swimsuit in Iceland (country). It's not my stuff cluttering up the Lost Property box* at our sports centre, so I know I'm not the only one.

*they empty that box each month & it's full again soon after.

I've got one like the one in the link and don't really like it. Feels like a chamois leather if you pull it over your skin, think you're supposed to blot yourself dry with them whereas I prefer a good rub down with a towel.

Hammam rather than microfibre. The microfibre ones feel horrible. I get mine from Ottomania because that was one of the few places selling them when I bought the first ones. They fold down to nothing and dry so quickly. And they get you dry too.

I bought one of these yesterday , haven’t used it yet but they have good reviews www.decathlon.co.uk/C-10996-swimming-towels#product_8361626

It wasn’t a criticism, I just haven’t left things like towels at the gym so found it odd one might expect to!
