Your favourite 10-min YouTube workout?

I’m trying to get back into shape after having my baby last year and am looking for a 10 or 20-minute YouTube routine that I could do every morning while DC is snoozing or playing.

Ideally one HIIT or strength training workout and one good stretch/yoga routine.

Before motherhood I was reasonably fit and went to spinning and yoga classes regularly. Please give me your recommendations for sessions I can do from the sitting room. Thank you so much!

Watching

There are many styles on the internet. These I like and have been doing for years.

and I recommend - if doing HIIT- to watch the "mistakes" videos here to learn the proper form for squats, push ups and so on because nobody will be able to correct you in your living room. athleanx.com/best-workout-program-videos/the-official-push-up-checklist-avoid-mistakes

Enjoy! Warning HIIT is addictive!

In the athlean website I linked if you go in the menu top right there is a section with videos for women too. But I don’t find them very engaging, still worth watching. Maybe incest in a couple of sets of handbells or buy cheap rice packets and fill an old backpack with them to use some resistance. Have fun!!

I really enjoy (and get results from) Lucy Wyndham-Read's you tube videos. She has a whole series of 7 minute workouts. In reality the videos are about 12 minutes long, but that's to cover a warm up and stretches etc as well as the short workout. They don't look like much at first glance, but if you actually focus on the moves and do them with control, it's a really good quick session. I know a lot of people string two or three videos together for a longer session.

Thank you, sounds perfect, will have a look!

Have you had a look at fitness blender ? It has hundreds of workout videos that you can filter by area you want to target and time etc.

You can also schedule them in on a calendar which I find helpful as once it's on there I just count it as my plan for the day and tend to stick to it so I can tick it off my to-do list.
