Where do you buy trainers for the gym?

Probably a very stupid question, but I used to run a lot so bought my trainers from a running shop. Due to hip and knee problems I've had to stop running and started going to the gym instead (mixture of cardio and weights). Up till now I've worn the trainers I wore for running but they are getting very worn and I figure I don't need running trainers any more. But clueless as to where to buy them !

Sports direct too

You don't need anything special for cardio and weights, Sports Direct or supermarket trainers will be fine. The shoes won't be under any stress.

No reason not to keep using the old running shoes unless they're really dead!

Nike outlet for me!

My feet complain if I don't get proper fitting shoes, so I try a load at a sports shop then buy online as it is normally cheaper.

For weights/HIIT, I use Nike Metcons. They are designed on the premise of CrossFit, but I find the stability in the heels are excellent for weight training.

Plus they come in loads of different colour ways Grin
